What a wonderful year it was!
Thank you to everyone who supported me on this journey.
I am looking forward to seeing all the dollies of 2013 :)

This week is turtle week :)

I used to make turtles for my market stalls from the Melly and Me pattern and now I modified it so I can use stretchy doll skin fabric and have them stand a little differently.
I love how they turned out!
2 are still in the shop :)

I also wanted to make dollies, I just can't help myself even with sales being slow at the moment.

It was a big week this last week!

First I finished these 2 dolls for my mum in Germany.
She loves dolls and used to make me some when I was little and I am so happy to be making some sweeties for her as well. She requested a blonde one and I made her a tiny one that looks like her granddaughter as well :)

Next I finished this spunky little lady. She is for a doll swap in our Australian Waldorf Doll group and she will be a surprise secret Santa gift .

And these 2 sweeties are on their way to the US to meet their new mummy. The little red head is the "reincarnation" of a dolly that was "beautified" with sharpie by a 2 year old and had to be redone. I used the same hair again so at least part of Miss Maureen are living on on this sweet one.

I have a weakness for the dark tan doll skin fabric so my shop doll for the week is this little one. She is patiently waiting to be picked up by her new mummy or daddy.

It was time for some hammocks again, you can find them in the shop now.

This little lady is on her way to her new home as well. She was part of a trade.

And last but not least, we have this funny bunch of dollies that are currently driving in a car across Australia with a young couple looking for adventure.
I had surprise visitors form Germany stay with us for the last 4 days. They were very keen on making their own dolls so we had an impromptu doll making workshop. the boy on the left and the second girl from the right were made by our friends and the other two are Sami dolls.

There will be turtles and Sami minis coming to the shop on Monday so please check back in tomorrow xx
